Yes, this appears to be resolved in 2.0.2.

Thanks for the response. I suspect that will cause us to not use the plugin, however, as that was a key feature for us.

I have a similar issue. I’ve just upgraded to v2.0.1, and now the profile pages for our staff have a Google+ icon and link — but we don’t have any Google+ profiles defined, and the link is broken.
