In reply to: Universal UTC and Local Time differencesThanks for the reply George. Yep, I’ve attempted all the changes on the General section of the Settings in WordPress. It allows me to change my timezone to the UTC time, but does not change the inherent UTC time on the platform, which is still 7 hours off of my local time.
I did reach out to Gravity Forms Support and they said that Gravity Forms uses the UTC time as the time stamp for their forms. They said that I will need to add some PHP code into the function.php file for the theme. I do have experience adding code, but not writing the code. If anyone here can help with that, I would greatly appreciate it. I’ve also reached back to Gravity Forms support to see if they can supply me with the code snippet.
Thanks again for your response.

I don’t have Twilio SendGrid set up on any of my sites. It’s just annoying to have such a long URL on my notifications.
Oh well, at least it is not a hack or something like that.
Thanks for your responses. I can sleep peacefully now. 🙂

Thanks Gerroald.
I have about 20 other WordPress websites, that are using Wordfence, and they all have the normal URL shown on notifications. Most of my sites are on the same server. I just thought it strange.
Is there an easy way to correct this?
Brad
I think this has something to do with an email notification service that wordfence uses. It appears that the email notifications are served through a service called sendgrid. So instead of getting a nice looking URL with my website address, it is sending a query string that then redirects to the proper page.
I did a test email from wordfence and got the same result.
So wordfence support, is this something I should be worried about, other than it is putting a really long URL in my email notifications.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce 3.6.1 broke featured product displayI contacted woocommerce support, and they said it is a known bug that will be fixed with the next update.
Thanks
Thanks Jeroen!
Hi Jeroen. Thanks for the suggestion. I noticed that you personally developed the Woocommerce Advanced Shipping Package. So you should know. 🙂
So, I just want to be clear that it will do what I need.
I need:
1. Set up Free shipping on 1 specific product, and not on others.
2. Free shipping only in the contiguous US, and not Hawaii and Alaska.
3. On this 1 specific product, for Hawaii, Alaska and outside the US, be able to use UPS rates. As all my other products are using FedEx, and I don’t want to change that. Thanks,
Brad

In reply to: Private labeled ThemesThanks for your input. I’ve been working on WordPress sites for about 5 years, and know how to change some HTML or CSS for colors, font’s, placement, etc., but not the PHP stuff.
I guess I’ll stay with the way I am doing it. There are so many good themes and plugins now, that it doesn’t require too much tweaking of code.

In reply to: Private labeled ThemesSo those sites that have a custom label are probably developed by someone who knows coding. Is that a correct assumption?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Private labeled ThemesI seem to see this a lot. So if it is a custom theme, is there a base theme or foundational theme that they use to develop the custom theme?

In reply to: [Customizer for WooCommerce] Placeholder image not workingI’ve actually been in touch with a programmer on the Aurum theme, and he admitted that the problem is on their side. He is working on coded files to put in the /inc and /tpls folders of the theme section.
He has been good to work with. Should have it resolved this week.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Placement image not working since WP updateAn update.
I reached out to support of my theme, Aurum. I also performed an update with this theme file. I’m going back and forth with them to determine if there is something in their coding that overrides the woocommerce placeholder image coding. So, I’m continuing to try and find an answer to this problem. Perhaps someone can suggest some coding in the functions.php file that may correct the problem.
Still need help!
