I uninstalled completely, I downgraded, for me it doesn’t work anymore. I even tried the xml generator in the SEO plugin, and that one doesn’t work either now. Seems after the upgrade to the 4.x version something “broke” in the wordpress configuration and sitemaps don’t work regardless… I am waiting for the developer to give us some guidance on this.

In reply to: Cannot place duplicated sidebar on the rightI am not a dev, but I can read and understand code as my job is IT related, so a dev might have done it in 15′ due to experience, it will take me a couple/few hours as I need to learn and understand as I progress, nevermind I need to search where the changes need to be applied. The biggest help is that I have an offline full copy of the site to play with, so I can change/tamper with whatever I please. Us users interacting, helping each other and exchanging ideas speeds up this process. Thank again for the help, and hope to talk again soon.

In reply to: Cannot place duplicated sidebar on the rightHi royalprince, thank you for your answer and your video. Yes, it’s a 2-column right now, so having 2 sidebars will make it a 3-column theme. I was just thinking that some of the widths, especially the one of the central column need realigning for everything to fall properly in place.
No problem using the CSS, I think I figured it out, because I know what you mean to create extra space for the new sidebar.
I wanted also to redesign the sidebars, but surely I will leave that for the future!!!
I read you can also add sidebars in the footer. Is that an easier scenario??? 🙂

Just now I have put a “margin-right: -920px” to the second sidebar and now it went to the right, but I am not sure that this is how I was supposed to do it, because there is more free gap on the left than on the right… I was thinking that it should have worked just with a “float: right”… so this is what it looks like now http://i47.tinypic.com/b7z8g8.png

In reply to: Cannot place duplicated sidebar on the rightI didn’t want to mess my live blog, so I have an offline copy running on my server, and there I got to the point of having 2 sidebars, which like I said I cannot define one of the two to go on the right… both stay on the left. anyway since the dev asked for a 3 digit fee to do it!!! I will keep on trying to fix it myself… 🙁
Is there a chance I can find a dev who would be willing to do this for less, and if so where could I ask?

What do you mean to put a unique ID or class, how do I do that and in which file? Do you want me to paste here any code that would help with this?

I resaved the job, and now the scheduled job started as it was supposed to. However, like with the manual job that I run yesterday, it is not managing to upload the backup to SugarSync anymore, here is part of the log:

In reply to: Request – image/gallery handlingWell, I want to insert without having thumbnails at the bottom, if I put 15 photos it will be crowded with thumbnails. The watermarking might be a feature of the plugin, but multi-insert is a feature I suppose that the wordpress developers can do.

In reply to: Request – image/gallery handlingA gallery makes thumbnails at the bottom of the post, if I am not mistaken. I am not expectind WordPress to know where to insert the images, but after I put them in the order I want, it would be nice if I could select some (let’s say by holding down the ctrl key) or all of them, and insert them all together. Then I can write between them and do whatever I want. For now as I said you can only insert one image at a time. I don’t think this is so difficult to implement.
