In reply to: why does JSON hate me?this is all that I can get to come up
don’t know what it’s asking forindex.js:102 GET https://03175fb.netsolhost.com/WordPress/wp-json/wp/v2/themes?context=edit&status=active&_locale=user 404
404: Page not found
This error is generated when there was no web page with the name you specified at the web site.Troubleshooting suggestions:
Ensure the page you are linking to exists in the correct folder.
Check your file name for case sensitivity . Index.htm is not the same as index.htm!
Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists.

In reply to: why does JSON hate me?Thanks, Benni. I don’t know what a “shortcode” is, or how to find or remove it. Not sure what a “browser console” is (chrome settings?), never heard of XHR or Requests. Not a clue how to find “the request that was logged.” Or how to go to Response. Copy and paste where?
Sorry to sound so helpless and dense. But I’ve been using my WordPress site for ten years, lately only every few months. But I’ve never been blocked by JSON before, never heard of JSON, never had to deal with JSON.
I’ve never had any particular difficulty posting my pictures/links/text blocks. Nothing particularly technical or complex.
This is something new, with the most recent WP updates, or with a plugin (all recently updated).
I have no idea where to start. I don’t think it’s shortcodes, but maybe so.
Just want to publish a simple post.
