Got it. The wording of the interface does imply that you can, this is probably why so many people bring it up. I was getting around to your solution eventually so it’s good to know I was on the right track.

Thanks for your quick response. I’ve undone my change to the php file as you suggested and I’m not sure which of the camptix css files to edit. I’m new to WP and I’m seeing a lot of plugins that will allow css edits on the “front end”. Could you send me in a direction that works for you? Thanks.
