My pleasure, and thank you for creating such a great plugin and updating it so quickly! It’s amazing how much better everything runs in general since installing the plugin. Things had been super glitchy lately, can’t help but assume AI bloat was behind it…

Had to wait a few hours for the latest version to show up but I’ve just updated it and all those AI features are now gone. Thank you thank you thank you!!! I had also contacted WordPress support as you had suggested and they’re still trying to work on a fix that would remove those features, since they noted disabling AI tools in my site settings should’ve gotten rid of them. You just beat them to it. 🙂

Wonderful, thank so much for looking into it and doing that! I’ll check with support as well, excellent idea. 🙂

I have a WordPress.com site (on the paid ‘Personal’ plan), I haven’t added any other plugins or browser extensions, so not sure if it’s just part of the built-in Jetpack stuff. The chatbot shows up either as a small bubble logo with a sparkle icon or a longer white bubble that says ‘Ask AI’. If I make the window very narrow it will go away, but otherwise is always there, I can’t find a setting anywhere to turn it off. If I click on it, it opens a chat window in the sidebar. When trying to figure out how to get URLs for screenshots to show you, I now see that the ‘Edit with AI’ thing in the toolbar is actually still there too, as as the ‘Improve with AI’ in the sidebar’s publishing checks. So even though the plugin seemed to improve stuff in my dashboard, all that crap is still there in the actual editor. I’ve dumped a bunch of screenshots of all that into a page on my blog so you can see: https://1001otheralbums.com/screenshots/
