i think it is a configuration flaw.
I do the excact same and it is working.
Not on my site.
as i said, I have products with variants (colours). Buld discount is set like buy more than 4 pcs and get 20%.
If i buy 5 of the same colour then its fine, but if i buy 1 of each colour adding up to a total of 5 I don´t get discount.

I have a case where 5 of the same variants give the correct discount, but if i choose 1 product in 5 different variants then no discount is calculated.
