Ah, right. So if i understand correctly: there is no way to implement this feature without breaking the official AMP specifications?

Riiight… I just found out this feature is already built in, LOL.
In the post/page editor on there is a custom editor on the bottom that clearly says: “Custom AMP Editor”.
Scenario:
Some of my pages contain shortcodes which don’t render nicely on AMP pages. So i would like to workaround the problem by having the possibility to create custom versions of those pages without shortcodes.
Please let me know if this is understandable. If not, i’ll try to rephrase. 🙂

- All posts and pages have /amp/ as AMP URL
- Custom homepage has /?amp as AMP URL
All above AMP URLs actually work, no more 404 errors.

I had a custom frontpage set. When i disabled the custom frontpage it was still redirected to https://example.com/amp/ instead of https://example.com/?amp but now i received an actual AMP page instead of a 404.
Excellent plugin, looking forward to the next release.
