Let me know if i can help you debug/test this issue. I understand this plugin is free and comes “as is” but i’d like it to work for me. =)

In reply to: [Geolocation IP Detection] Changing the output languageHad to temporarily set permissions of the /wp-content/uploads folder to 777. After that i could update the Maxmind data.
Used the following examples in a Page but somehow it did not generate the country and/or countrycodes.
Examples used in page: [geoip_detect2 property="country"] -> Germany [geoip_detect2 property="country.isoCode"] -> de [geoip_detect2 property="country" lang="de"] -> Deutschland [geoip_detect2 property="country.confidence" default="default value"] -> default valueSeems i’m getting some errors in the HTML comments:

After re-activating the plugin first i got this error when trying to adjust the settings in the Country tab.
Maxmind files have NOT been updated: Unable to create Maxmind Update directory ( /sitename/wp-content/plugins/category-country-aware/maxmind_data/ ) existing Maxmind data will continue to be used.I tried the following as well, but none of the methods fixed it:
– create maxmind_data directory
– set maxmind_data directory permissions to 777 and Activate/de-activate settingsLet me know if i can be of any further assistance, i hope this helps.

Seems to work again. Just checked my GA and outbound links are popping up as events again.
No idea what fixed it.

In reply to: [Ipgp User Country Flag] Not working on WP 4.1I think the problem is that i’m running ot from localhost. Other IP-address plugins show 127.0.0.1 as IP-address. Which is logical.
I will try this in an online server later this afternoon and report my results here.
Same problem here. Links previously defined as outbound are not showing up as events in GA anymore.

Tested this and it works. At least this partially solved my problem. 🙂
