    Hi peter:
Recently, I have been learning something on plugin and theme development, I havent tried the way ermser responses, but I think that could be the cause.some table store the setting for hidden posts.you may send email to the plugin developers, they might give you solutions and let me know then.
    Thanks

    Thanks ermser:
In My case, all the imported products can show up in admin and look same in database but don’t show up in the page or post of website. Anyway you provide me a clue to look into the hidden setting somewhere .

I wonder why this forum is so quiet,i have been waiting for solutions for a long time.

Haven’t asked,I might post there later.I checked wp-posts table from Phpmyadmin, they look normal, but please see 2)and 4)in my original post.
per author, I am not sure how it affects, I believe it is similar to tags and categories and shouldn’t be a cause.

    Thanks RossMitchell:
I used wp-all import plugin, they are all in the same post type and category for sure.from database side, they are normal and from wp-admin panel, once and only I select the individual post and click update, even no modification at all, the post will show properly after.
Furthermore, I believe nothing with tags or category, all posts suppose to show up here or there in my website.

    Hi ronanelo,thanks for reply.

    This is a clue
#1045 – Access denied for user ‘root’@’localhost’ (using password: NO)All of the operations you describe requires writing to the database

the error messsge only come out when i use explorer 6.* browser.
now, i am using another browser, it works without any error message and from PhpMyAdmin page, i can see the actions applied to my database, it is normal and reasonable.

What webhost are you using or is it a local install? Also what are the contents of your wp-config.php

i install on my localhost. the wp-config.php is simple, was just added my password and as mentioned before, i have passed around this Mysql conection issue although i still don’t know why like that.
when i actived your theme, just added three posts, now the problems are
    1)can’t insert media(picture)to post.
2)can’t add menu to navi bar, it says this theme support 1 menu but even 1 menu can’t show on vist site.
3)the layout mess up,widgets on sidebar come to post location, navi bar doesn’t show.post frame graphic doesn’t show. so it looks ugly now.
the theme Twenty Eleven and Twenty Twelve are something different:
1)can insert picture in post but CSS looks not applied, the float:left doesn’t work but pictures show on there.
2)can’t add new menus, still says the theme support 1 menu and no show after adding 1 menu.

i have the same issue, i have tried many different ways, now just realize that is related specified themes. the theme Twenty Eleven
and Twenty Twelve do work, but the theme Max Magazine and Asteroid don’t work.

and i forget to mention, before this issue, i couldn’t upload media (picture) to the post. the select files window always come out when click INSERT TO POST. now some theme work and some theme don’t for adding media files.
for installion, even now, one of browser can open PhpMyAdmin.php another browser shows error:

    MySQL return:

#1045 – Access denied for user ‘root’@’localhost’ (using password: NO)

I only start using WordPress for couple of days, and carefully follow the instruction on the website.

thanks so much Christine for your quick response.
actually, the themes included in WORDPRESS 3.5 by default don’t work and have the same problem so i think this version could be something wrong. i have tried 4 themes all download from your site, they are:
    1)Asteroid
    2)Max Magazine
    3)Twenty Eleven
    4)Twenty Twelve
for all of them, when i all menu, have the same problem like i mentioned in above post.
if i hadn’t realized WordPress has been so popular nowaday,i could have given up immediately and give back to Dreamweaver or something else. you know my programing skill is above average people.

    thanks a lot anyway.

I might do that later, the problem is when each crash,i have to uninstall the WordPress and reinstall,it is not good job.
