I have the same issue.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Memcached Object Cache] Memcached issue with WHMSo there’s a bit of a solution:
The plugin author notes in readme to “install PECL memcache module.” For people using CPanel/WHM, the way you typically install PHP extensions is by using EasyApache 4. That will NOT work because (as noted above) memcache is not available beyond 7.4 while memcached is.
First:
yum install libmemcached libmemcached-devel
Then go to Module Installers in WHM, choose “manage” beside PHP Pecl, type in memcache, install BOTH memcache and memcached.
It appears to show data being written to the cache.
HOWEVER, it doesn’t work for two sites for me at the moment. I put an unique salt in another site’s wp-config.php, copied the object-cache.php into the wp-content folder of a second site, visited it in a web browser, and the request was redirected to the FIRST site I had installed caching on.

In reply to: [Memcached Object Cache] Memcached issue with WHMThe issue is that with CPanel and WHM and even CentOS in general, memcache is not available to even install past PHP 7.4. A search of yum for memcache shows this:
ea-php74-php-memcache.x86_64 : memcache extension for ea-php74 ea-php74-php-memcache-debuginfo.x86_64 : Debug information for package ea-php74-php-memcache ea-php74-php-memcached.x86_64 : php-memcached extension for ea-php74 ea-php74-php-memcached-debuginfo.x86_64 : Debug information for package ea-php74-php-memcached ea-php80-php-memcached.x86_64 : php-memcached extension for ea-php80 ea-php80-php-memcached-debuginfo.x86_64 : Debug information for package ea-php80-php-memcached ea-php81-php-memcached.x86_64 : php-memcached extension for ea-php81 ea-php81-php-memcached-debuginfo.x86_64 : Debug information for package ea-php81-php-memcachedSo, for anyone who wants to use something newer than PHP 7.4 on a CPanel server, this plugin does not appear to be a viable option unless the author supports memcached.
It would be helpful if you would make it a bit clearer in the documentation, as I spent quite a while trying to get this to work after following the instructions –as best as I could– before finding this support thread. Maybe something along the lines of “Do not install memcached without memcache or this plugin will not work.”
Also, DO you plan to support memcached or not?

In reply to: [Geolocation IP Detection] How do I just display the IP address itself?Any rough estimate on when this will be out? We’ve got a hack in place, but I just wanted to make a calendar entry to check for a new version at some point and would like to know generally when that might be. Thanks.

In reply to: [Print-O-Matic] Print o matic printing blank page in IE 11Please visit
http://www.reehplumbing.com/promotions
The print function works in Firefox but does NOT work in IE. Using this code:[print-me target=”#1″]
with id=”1″ in the IMG tag of the first image, etc.
ALSO, how do I change the window size so that it prints a SMALL version (actual size) of the image rather than a huge grainy image?

In reply to: [Post Via Email] [Plugin: Post Via Email] Email Never Posts To BlogSame here. Installed, sent e-mail to address provided. Blog post never showed up.
I don’t actually want to have to send to an external address. I’d prefer to check my own POP3 box, but the built-in WP wp-mail.php function breaks on HTML mail.

In reply to: [Plugin: I am reading] Doesn’t accept Amazon secret keyFEATURE THOUGHT: Would be cool to have an “I have read…” link where people can see an archive of books read.

In reply to: [Plugin: I am reading] Doesn’t accept Amazon secret keyUPDATE: Thought I’d upgrade to WP 3.0. Deleted the plugin and reinstalled. Didn’t work still. Revisited Amazon and deleted keys created a few months back. Recreated a new key pair. Installed those. Configuration saved and plugin works.
So apparently something has changed in the keypair/API in the past few months with Amazon which this plugin doesn’t like?
Hope this helps someone else.

In reply to: [Plugin: Connections] Non-Alphabetic OrderI want to follow up with my request for this feature also. It’s common for organizations to list leaders/management first. There is currently no way to do this.
It’s important to me to have this functionality. Do you intend to add support for this in the near future?
Thanks for your plugin.

In reply to: [Plugin: I am reading] Doesn’t accept Amazon secret keyIs this plugin dead at this point?
It doesn’t work on a stock installation. The author doesn’t respond. Is anyone picking up development on this?

In reply to: [Plugin: I am reading] Doesn’t accept Amazon secret keyFeel free to contact me if it would help hasten the fixing of this problem. I can provide you with the details on my setup and config, etc. which are not working. Have tried installing this plugin twice to no avail. I’ve no choice but to discard it if I can’t locate a fix.
