Thanks for the reference link; but where do I define which category I want to hide within that code you wrote? ..and where would I insert that code?

Also, wouldn’t that hide the flex slider contents at that approach?

Thanks a lot Pankaj, I just tried the first solution & it didn’t work, it would just pull up the ‘blank blog page’ or would redirect to the home page.

How do I create a custom template? Thanks

I have checked the server logs & it says ‘Transfer complete’ and states line by line as if everything has clearly imported but definitely hasn’t. I’m trying to reinstall the WordPress CMS and try once more, if that doesn’t work I don’t know what else to do. If you have any more suggestions please let me know & thanks a lot for your help.
