    Hi Payment Plugins

    We are moving the order to the completed status and immediately running delete_post_meta($order_id, ‘_date_paid’) to remove the _date_paid meta field.

    This process is triggered when the order status changes:

    From pending payment to on-hold.
    From on-hold to processing.

    However, we are observing that the _date_paid meta field gets re-added after what appears inital webhook interacts with the database. Despite this, the payment method (stripe_ach) is still not visible during the process.

    Can you confirm if it’s correct that the order should be marked as paid once the initial webhook fires? Additionally, when is the saved payment method stored? Does this happen after the initial webhook or only after the final webhook confirms that the money has been received? If it’s the latter, does the payment date need to be cleared for that final webhook to function correctly?

    Hi Payment Plugins,

    Apologies im strictly talking about save method for ACH.

    So if I remove the post meta field _date_paid if im autocompleting the order it would allow the the payment method to be saved correct? Do I also remove the _paid_date?

    Hi Payment Plugins,

    Would the Version 3.3.62 have the same issue of cards not saving as the new version. We might have to temporary revert to the old version while we resolve the payment intent issue.

    Hi Payment Plugins,

    We confirmed the webhook is setup. However, one thing different with our flow is we are auto-completing orders once placed (even before payment_intent.succeeded). Could that be messing up the saving of the payment method? If so, is there a way we can mark an order as completed before payment_intent.succeeded without causing problems?

    Version 3.3.62 seems to use the functionality of asking the customer for their bank information after they click on the ‘Pay’ Button.

    We’re getting the same error after our client updated to the latest version of the plugin.

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 413 of the file
    /wp-content/plugins/activecampaign-for-woocommerce/includes/orders/class-activecampaign-for-woocommerce-order-action-events.php. Error message: Uncaught TypeError: Unsupported operand types: int – string in /wp-content/plugins/activecampaign-for-woocommerce/includes/orders/class-activecampaign-for-woocommerce-order-action-events.php:413

    Can you confirm if this was the issue you resolved or if this still needs to be fixed?

    Hi @omarfpg

    The issue we are seeing is not related to the website. The api call it self is returning that tax rate of 7.75 instead of the rate 8.75 for the zipcode 92563

    Here is a log of correct zipcode but incorrect address showing the: 8.75 tax rate

    Thanks for following up and informing us! That’s great to hear! To be honest, I’m not quite sure what the content entry team did that temporarily fixed it – perhaps they deleted and re-created some content, which would’ve given it new IDs. In any case, it’s nice to know that there will be a permanent fix coming! Thanks for the great work!

    Hi Sybre,

    Thank you for the helpful and informative reply! Our issue seems resolved now. We noticed, for one thing, that if the taxonomy query returns no results, the SEO Framework plugin doesn’t work. Makes sense, I suppose. However, the team handling content entry indicated that several taxonomy term archives with posts in them that were not working – but seemed to have suddenly started working on their own. Not sure if something else changed on the site without our knowing, but in any case, we are glad tha the issue is resolved for now! Also, I’m glad we now know how to manually override the restrictions, if worse comes to worst.

    Thanks for your help, Roman! For anyone else reading this, Roman found the problem was some custom search exclusion code we already had in our functions.php. Thanks for providing a fix for our code and for the great support!
