In reply to: Member’s Last Visit PluginWhat I meant by this member’s last visit plugin is…I’d like to know when a member last visited the site. Something like this:
Member: Eden
Last Visit: 06-05-05Member: Tristan
Last Visit: 07-21-06Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Member’s Last Visit PluginStill waiting and hoping…

In reply to: Where can I re-download the default theme for WordPress 2.0?I did it! Woohoo! Thank you, Lord! Thank you, WordPress, for having a default theme built in! And thanks to HowToBlog, spencerp and moshu as well! God bless you all.

In reply to: Where can I re-download the default theme for WordPress 2.0?That’s what I’m doing now. But I still would like to save my blog. I’m doing another installation and putting it in a different directory. I’ll copy the default theme and see if I can restore it so I can have my blog back.
Thanks for all your help, spencerp. I guess I badly needed to have someone tell me that everything’s all right. Don’t panic.
Really hoping and praying here everything WILL be all right. Just need to be patient.

In reply to: Where can I re-download the default theme for WordPress 2.0?The default theme is not anywhere in those links you posted. I wonder why. Is it because it’s built-in, that’s why there’s no download link for it? But what if one has accidentally deleted it?

In reply to: Where can I re-download the default theme for WordPress 2.0?Spencerp, I’m so careless. That’s my problem. I did two stupid things all on the same day. I tested the squible theme and accidentally deleted the default theme. I was cleaning up my themes folder and getting rid of unused themes when that happened. Grr.

In reply to: Where can I re-download the default theme for WordPress 2.0?Went to the Binary Bonsai site. It says there that if one is using WordPress 1.5, don’t bother downloading Version 1.2.6 (this is probably not an updated version). I wonder what version is the default theme that’s being used for WordPress 2.0.

In reply to: Where can I re-download the default theme for WordPress 2.0?Thanks for the quick reply, spencerp!
I actually have a major, major problem. I was trying to test the squible theme and forgot to do some extra precautions. I didn’t know that some themes can be broken, giving you a blank screen. Now I can no longer revert to my current theme because all my pages are blank. Crap!
This thread is a big help though: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/54141?replies=14
It’s given me a ray of light. My question is–if I download your fixed version of the default theme, should I rename the folder to DEFAULT, so that when I finally click on http://baliws.com/blog/wp-admin/themes.php the default theme will be restored automatically, as what HowToBlog (http://blogging.typepad.com/how_to_blog/) said in the other thread?

In reply to: Member’s Last Visit PluginGood news: Kris (the XDForum plugin creator) is planning to make this into a plugin! Oh, I’m so happy.
Let me just repost what I wrote on his forum….
I just talked to the guy who created the member’s last visit plugin for EE. He said something about the dates for the last visits being stored in the user profile database table. When he wrote the plugin, he just pulled the info from there. He also said something about running the ten-digit data (I would assume this is the timestamp) through the PHP time function and get a time/date. I told him that I looked in the user profile and couldn’t find that data. So he said, if there was inline processing of data in the templates…it might not have been needed.
Oh, I can’t wait for the day when I finally can have this feature on my site!

In reply to: 2 comments templatesIs this something that will still appear on the Dashboard once you’ve made a comment?
I made the mistake of choosing Page with Comments Template as my For Admins Only template. One admin made a comment, and the link appeared on the Dashboard. I forgot about the Dashboard thing. Password-protecting the page didn’t work at all. Because of the commenting part. Which happens to be an important aspect of that section.
