Hey Jorge and threadi (and sndeep gochar who has strangely disappeared off this thread). I asked Netfirms support (my site host) to look into the site loading issue while I was in conversation with them today about another issue (backing up my websites like Jorge suggested). They found out that the ctype extension was missing and they added in the php.ini file and now the website is working fine. Looked like a simple fix but not for me. Thanks for all your suggestions, which were very detailed. What Netfirms did is above my current knowledge structure. I run a couple small businesses with my wife that need simple websites and I’m just trying to get better designing with the Twenty Seventeen theme and adding new features on the sites as I understand the theme/software.
