I’d appreciate an update when there’s a fix out for this 🙂- This reply was modified 8 years, 3 months ago by Caparico.

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Provide an option to disable the branding text + linkI’ve updated the plugin and cleared the cache but the text+link still appears on every voiced post. I also don’t see an option to disable it in the plugin’s settings.

In reply to: [AWS for WordPress] Provide an option to disable the branding text + linkWhat usually happens is that a blog operator can set up an automatic RSS email campaign.
It simply checks to see whether there’s new content published to an RSS feed. If yes, it grabs that new content and emails it to the subscribers.
In our case, it automatically grabs the new post’s title + thumb image + 1st paragraph + link and creates an email out of it.
The redundant text caused it to look like this:

In reply to: [Disqus Notify Post/Page Author] Doesn't appear to be working..Hi Janne,
Sorry, but I was not able to have notifications on new comments sent to our authors.
I now simply have them subscribe and get email updates from their blog posts using the built-in Disqus Subscribe button.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Disqus Notify Post/Page Author] Doesn't appear to be working..Thanks for your reply, Janne!
I’ll investigate further, plus, I’ll have to update our WordPress version and see if I can get this resolved.Cheers!

In reply to: [Disqus Notify Post/Page Author] Doesn't appear to be working..Hi Janne,
I’m also having trouble, as it seems like the plugin isn’t notifying authors of new comments to their posts..
I made sure that comments get imported back to WordPress, and that automated comment syncing is enabled..
What else can be checked?Thanks!

In reply to: [Polylang] [Plugin: Polylang] Page template is automatically defined for pageGotcha, thanks.
Never mind, it was a CSS conflict.
Resolved.Oh, I almost forgot, your fix also makes the date appear correctly on blog posts, but I think I spotted a different bug…
The blog posts are not pulling in the_title of the every post.
It did pull them before, so I suspect it has to do with the plugin.
So I’ve installed the dev version – 0.9.2.3, and it indeed fixed the alignment issue. Thank you!
I was wondering if you had a solution for another issue I was having:
My static front page is set as home.php, and is obviously detected as the front page because of this naming convention in WordPress. I can’t seem to be able to make the Polylang plugin detect the English version I’ve made for this page. All the other pages (like contact, services, etc.) have their English equivalents because they have been built from within the WordPress pages creation system. I have hand-coded this page in my text editor, and want to set it as a the page that will appear as the default English version. Is there a way to do this?Cheer
Oh, I forgot about the date thing… I also came across that one, but forgot to mention it here, so… he wasn’t lying 😉
About you dev version’s fix, I’m afraid I don’t have enough time to test it right now, as I need to present the site to a client, and I need to have it aligned correctly for now…
I will look into it tomorrow though, and let you know, of course.
