Closing out this issue.. thanks for the help mc_nate.
I took a different route on my internal pages. Home page fix worked great!
Thanks again.
Mark
Success!!
Thanks mc_nate, I appreciate your sticking with me on this 😉
Now the only issue is it removes the border from the input box…? Is there a fix for that?
Mark
This is what the code looks like now:
/*—: [ border removal ]:—*/
#mc_embed_signup input {border: 0px !important;}#mc_embed_signup input.email {border: 1px solid #000000 !important;}
#mc-embedded-subscribe-form input {border: 0px !important;}
Still not working on the home page. Also, it looks like this code should leave the border around the email input box, but that seems to be gone still? What are you seeing? Maybe it’s my cache?
Thanks,
Mark
Ok, after posting that I noticed that the change DID take effect everywhere but on the home page of the site… It could be a caching issue. Unless there is a reason for that?
Sorry for the confusion there…
mc_nate, thanks for the quick reply.. But it didn’t work. Below is my entire style.css file. Not sure what’s going on. When it didn’t work in the style.css file, I put it into the custom.css file. That didn’t work either. I also noticed that I can’t find where to activate the custom.css file in Thesis 1.8.3..? It seems that is no longer necessary, as they’ve combined stylesheets in this new version.
Anyway, here is the style.css (I added your code at the end):
