    TheSupercargo, that’s great!! I updated the theme, found the Posts Page Image options, everything’s working well. I had given up on the issue, so I’m very grateful to you for sticking around and posting about the update! 🙂

    Wait, have they fixed it in a recent update?

    That’s because </br> isn’t valid. “br” doesn’t require closing, and </br> is a closing tag. It doesn’t break your code if you add it, but it doesn’t do anything useful either.

    Hello! Try this:

    <p>First paragraph</p>
    <br>
    <br>
    <p>Second paragraph</p>

    The two “br” tags should add two blank lines between your paragraph. Hope it works 🙂

    I’ve also noticed I can’t set a featured image for the blog page. I mean I can, but it doesn’t show. Is that how it’s meant to be?

    Oh I’m so sorry, I had no idea! I was researching how to style the form, wound up here and just assumed you were affiliated. Should have paid more attention, sorry. Luckily, I’ve managed to fix the issue. Next time I need to use MaiChimp on a site, I’ll be sure to check this plugin out!

    Yeah, I tried visiting the page in incognito mode and the player isn’t showing up properly. I’ll poke around and see what I can do. In any case, thank you very much for the help! Where do I go to leave a positive review?

    Oh, forgot to ask the most important question: is there a way to make it look good on mobile devices? Cause it doesn’t at the moment and I don’t know how to fix it.

    Thank you so much, it worked! I threw in some additional styling. The idea was to have the image galleries look like a single gallery wrapped around the video player, and now it looks almost perfect. Can’t find a way to make the bottom gallery’s right edge to line up with the video player’s. I guess I’m gonna have to mess with the player’s width. Is there a better way? A problem I faced and something you could consider for the next update: there’s no option to limit the number of rows in the playlist section of the video player. It wasn’t hard to find a workaround, but it might be a useful feature for others.

    Alright, thanks, will do! 🙂 Still, if someone else sees this and knows a different plugin that could work, I’m open to suggestions.

    Hello! I’m not asking about a specific plugin, I’m asking whether someone knows of any free plugins that could get the job done. Grand Media came the closest. Sorry if my question was vague, I’ll try to make it clearer.

    I want to create a mixed media page. Photos + video. Sorted into different albums/galleries by date would be best. One of you suggested I tried a different plugin? I’ve tried ~8. When I mentioned CSS, it’s because if I were to settle for the Grand Media plugin, it would need styling that I don’t currently know how to do.

    I didn’t link to the site because there’s nothing to link to: the page is blank, because nothing has worked. But basically, the CSS issue is that I can’t create a coherent mixed gallery using the GM plugin. I can make separate galleries, but they show up disjointedly on the page. What I can do is create a video player type thing, a small gallery to go alongside it (I’ve made them more or less the same height, plus that can always be changed), and a larger gallery to fill the rest of the page beneath the player and the small gallery. To do that, I’d need to know how to position an item precisely on a page (which I do) while still maintaining the responsiveness (which I sorta do), and preventing overlap (which I don’t). Hope this clears up any confusion my initial post might have created.

    So if someone can recommend a free plugin, awesome. If not – here’s the page, I need help making it look good (domain looks funny, we’re fixing that atm): http://fotoescalera.com/drinkinenglish.es/multimedia/
    I’ve brought back the GM plugin, enjoy the baby elephants.

    It would be awesome if someone better than me at CSS helped out.
    Or not, you know, I’m not telling you what to do 😀

    Nobody on here knows how to throw some pics and video together and make it look acceptable?
