Pantheon uses wp-content/uploads/private folder for private files (avoid direct access to the files) i had altered your plugin with that folder for pantheon and works perfect, but each update I made of your plugin needs to modify the path again, so if you could add an option in the settings (Something linke select or add your save folder), would be very helpfull
