I just tried rolling back to 7.4.0 but unfortunately, all my widgets were still gone. Shortcodes Ultimate has appeared back in the Widget area as a possible widget to use but all my widgets I created using it didn’t re-appear. I have a huge website with hundreds of pages and almost all of them had their own unique widget area created and populated with SU buttons. Those never came back!
