My brother was able to assist me. He had to set up a new subdomain and change some settings on my cpanel as I want the current site (on Wix) to still be live whilst I work on the new WordPress side. Once that’s all ready I’ll then do the steps that you’ve shared with me. I wouldn’t have been able to have done it on my own! Thanks so much for your advice and for following up.

Where do I find the root folder, is it in my cpanel?
