In reply to: [Code Snippets] stuck on “Loading edit page”Hello @timdddd
Thank you for reaching out, and thank you as well for the kind words about the plugin — we really appreciate it.
From what you described, it does sound like the issue may be related to compatibility with WordPress 6.0.11, especially since the problem goes away after upgrading WordPress. WordPress 6.0.11 is quite an older version now, and newer releases of the plugin are primarily built and tested with more recent versions of WordPress.
Since you’re not able to upgrade WordPress at the moment, the best approach would be to use a version of the Code Snippets plugin that is compatible with WordPress 6.0.x. We recommend trying to roll back to an earlier version of the plugin (ideally one released around the same time as WP 6.0).
You can roll back the plugin in a couple of ways:
- Download an older version from the WordPress repository here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/code-snippets/advanced/ and install it manually
- Or use the built-in feature in the plugin under Settings → Version, where you can select and switch to a previous version directly
I hope this helps resolve the issue. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions ☺️

In reply to: [Code Snippets] Snippets bug – not deleting code snippetsHello @lukekc551
You can use the Safe Mode feature if your site has any issues related to a faulty snippet. If you have any issues editing a snippet, please use Safe Mode. Please check all the detailed information here: https://codesnippets.pro/doc/safe-mode/
You can also force a cache reset. If the snippet was updated, you can force a cache reset to ensure the changes take effect. Simply go to Settings → Debug, where you’ll find the “Reset Caches” button, which clears the snippet cache.
I hope this points you in the right direction. Let us know how it goes 😊

In reply to: [Code Snippets] Very usefullHi @tibornebel!
Thanks for your feedback!
Exactly—that’s one of the main benefits of the plugin. It lets you safely add and manage custom code without needing to create or modify a child theme’s functions.php file. This keeps your changes organized and ensures they won’t be lost during theme updates.
Glad you found it useful 🙂

In reply to: [Code Snippets] Snippet control optionsHello @xavier20
Thanks for the kind words—glad you’re enjoying the plugin!
Yes, you can enable or disable multiple snippets at once. Just select the snippets you want by checking their boxes, then use the Bulk Actions dropdown and choose Deactivate (or Activate, if needed). Apply the action, and it will update all selected snippets in one go.
This should save you from having to toggle them one by one 🙂

In reply to: [Code Snippets] PHP and SecurityHello @dacilbf
Thank you for contacting us, and thank you as well for raising this security concern.
Currently the plugin requires the
manage_optionscapability, so by default only Administrators can access and use it. In practice, that means non-admin users should not be able to create or manage PHP snippets unless they have been granted elevated capabilities through custom role settings or another plugin. There is not currently a separate built-in setting to disable only PHP snippets while still allowing CSS, JavaScript, and other snippet types.
Let us know if this helps.
