  • I have the same problem. I enabled coupons previously, but the GC codes were not being emailed to folks. Also, I do not have any Gift Card Number in the order notes. But I had done these steps:

    Setting Up a Gift Card Product

    1. Create a new simple or variable product.
    2. Mark the product as a gift card by enabling the Square gift card checkbox.

    I also had already enabled “square gift card sent” email to customer.

    Now I have disconnected and reconnected square. Hoping this resolves the issue in the future. However…. What happens now to gift card purchases already made? Can the code for the GC be sent/resent to the recipient?
