In reply to: [Breadcrumb NavXT] Using page hierarchy rather than category pageWow! OK, I see what you mean by manual!
I guess I was picturing adding some code somewhere that would set the parent depending upon the category. So Post Parents does do the job, but I have 476 posts!
Are you able to help with the coding needed to set the parent depending upon the category?Do I still need to hang onto “NavXT Paths” and “Menu Magic”?
Kind regards,

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Indexing (searching) mDocs contentJust to round this off: SearchWP DOES index the content of pdfs stored within mDocs. The setup is a little obscure and the SearchWP documentation doesn’t make it very clear.
Once you’ve installed SearchWP plugin, go to Admin > Settings > SearchWP. > Add Post Type > Media
Set “Weight Transfer” to “transfer weight to parent”. This will ensure search results lead you to the familiar mDocs preview/description screen for the item.
Add Attribute > Document Content
Set “Content” to 50% (or whatever works for you) for:
Media > Document Content
Memphis Document Posts > Content
Pages > Content
Posts > ContentIf you have any plugin running that locks the database (e.g. “MergeBot“), you’ll need to de-activate it while SearchWP is indexing or they get into “deadlock“.
Good luck!

In reply to: [Breadcrumb NavXT] Using page hierarchy rather than category pageHi John,
Thanks for your response.
I think you captured what I am trying to do perfectly.I carried out your step 1 and then installed Post Parents, but I’m unsure what to do next.
I note your point that the mapping won’t happen automatically, but what should I do to make it happen manually?
Kind regards,

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Top Downloads table emptyHi and thanks for pursuing this.
FIXED in ver 3.83!!I regret I didn’t get the chance to try your mod above. Upon upgrading to 3.83, the widget “remembers” the figure I had previously entered in Top Downloads. The figure had previously never re-appeared after a save and re-open, but clearly it WAS being stored.
With the number now visible, I saved and refreshed the page – but still no download entries
Went back into edit the page and entered a new figure into the widget. Saved and refreshed the page and the table was populated as required.
Hope this breakdown helps.
Thanks for your focus on this.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Indexing (searching) mDocs contentSorry I should have emphasised: he really needs the content of the pdfs in the library to be included.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Top Downloads table emptyHi, I made that mod and went back to edit the page. It still won’t store the value.
Just to confirm, I have tried disabling all other plugins and editing the page but it wouldn’t store the value then either.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Top Downloads table emptyHi, thanks. The widget loses it’s setting (“20”) when I click the “Update” button for the page.
The error console shows the following js:
TypeError: this.sink is null[Learn More] network-monitor.js:527:5
TypeError: this.sink is null[Learn More] network-monitor.js:527:5
TypeError: this.sink is null[Learn More] network-monitor.js:527:5I tried using the Memphis Top Downloads widget in a sidebar and it works fine.

In reply to: [Memphis Documents Library] Top Downloads table emptyThanks for your thought on this fault, but my copy of the file already looks like your second line.
Is there something else I can change?
