Actually I experienced the same as well. I think some of the subscriber did sent to my mailchimp account. But it seem like not really constant.

Keep it up bro =DActually I did. The count not adding up once I insert the key into the settings. Not sure what happening. After go through some of the post at support, another user did solve this after removing the sharecount key. It works for me. But dun seem like accurately.
