thanks for your advice. Just two hours before your answer we solved the problem.

It´s a little bit tricky, cause one can´t see it on the first view.

Connecting jetpack to wordpress ends up in an error. Error Details: “transport error: http_request_failed cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable ti get local host issuer certificate”. Once we clicked on “try again” the connection seems to be valid. No more errors. But no connection to social was possible.

This morning i saw in the wp-admin tools=>website health an fatal error, but it ends up again in the steps above. a circle.

there was a site, were one can check the ssl-status of the website SSL Checker . this checker tells us that the certificate is not trusted in all browsers. we should install an intermediate/cahin certificate. at this point i got totally lost. i ask our technican, he fixed this – but don´t i ask me how.

at the end: with that fix the problem was solved and everything works fine.

it all comes up, cause the connection between jetpack and wordpress seemed to be fine at the second try to connect them.

So all in all, thanks for your advice/hints.
