In the meantme, I am still somewhat disconcnerted that I can go into the “gallery” tab on the media inserter dialog on a page, type an actual page URL into a field called “Link URL”, hit “Save all changes”, go back in and it hasn’t saved… and will not …. is this sort of thing normal?
No, its built into the theme. I’m coming to the conclusion that the theme isn’t going to do what I want naturally. I didn’t really want to code on this site at all, but I think i’m going to have to look at another theme or get a plugin for a gallery with richer functionality – I wonder if nextGen might do this, or would there be any other suggestions please?
