In reply to: [Analyticator] [Plugin: Google Analyticator] A big THANK YOU Ronald! Thanks Mac. Glad you enjoyed Google Analyticator.
From your WordPress admin, click on Settings > Google Analytics. All of Google Analyticator’s settings are on that page.
In what way is the problem still there? Did you try any of the solutions above?
Hello everyone, there are a few solutions to this problem. To prevent counting admin users in the stats, Google Analyticator removes the ga.js tracking code for admin users logged into WordPress. This can cause problems with the in-page analytics if you’re logged in, as Google is expecting the tracking code to be there. If you want to take advantage of the in-page analytics functionality, here are you’re options:
1) Log out of WordPress before launching the in-page analytics.
2) Enable tracking of admin users in Google Analyticator’s settings. This can be found in the advanced section.
3) Change the way Google Analyticator disables tracking for admins. In the same advanced section, there is an option to use an admin variable to prevent tracking. Enable that option, and then setup the corresponding settings in Google Analytics via this FAQ: http://forums.ronaldheft.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=309
Hope this helps!
Hi Tom,
Google highly discourages the tracking code placement anywhere but the <head> section of the HTML document. There are no disadvantages to doing so as the tracking is done asynchronously. I have a detailed FAQ explaining the placement available here: http://forums.ronaldheft.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=967
Correct. I would make sure whatever address you’re using to access your WordPress admin from is registered on the Google ManageDomains page.
Is your WordPress admin behind a sub-domain? Try registering the URL to your website here: https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageDomains

In reply to: [Analyticator] [Plugin: Google Analyticator] analyticsFileTypes' is undefinedAware of the issue and have a fix. Will be resolved in the next release, hopefully this weekend. If it’s a deal breaker, disabling Outbound Link Tracking will prevent the error for now.

In reply to: [Plugin: Google Analyticator] possible bug (error included)No ETA. To be honest Google Analyticator has really been on the back burner lately.
viehhiber, is there a chance your web host does not allow outbound connections? Particularly one to google.com on port 443 and port 80? If you’re unsure, create a support ticket with your host and ask. Google Analyticator needs to connect to Google to retrieve the stats.
dschroed, did you authenticate with Google or did you only place your UID in the settings box? You need to actually authenticate using the link above to UID box for the dashboard widget to work.

In reply to: [Analyticator] [Plugin: Google Analyticator] Cannot authenticateSorry for the forums being down and glad you found that link. I was just going to point that out.

In reply to: [Analyticator] [Plugin: Google Analyticator] Problem with multi ProfilesThere is a profile id box at the bottom of the settings page. Not intuitive right now, but using that should get you past your problem.
I agree, it’s completely unintuitive. The profile id box is there as a workaround if the drop down doesn’t function properly, and most likely the formatting of the id you used wasn’t correct.
Sorry about the forums being down. There is currently over 2000 registered spam users that left messages in the span of 48 hours, and it’s been a real pain to clean up. I’m really hoping I can get them back online this weekend, or an alternative at the very least.
Although not very intuitive right now, near the bottom of the Google Analyticator settings page is a Google Analytics profile id box. Enter the account you want displayed in the dashboard there, and see if that corrects your problem. If you need help finding your profile id (not the same as your UID), see: http://forums.ronaldheft.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=128

In reply to: [Analyticator] [Plugin: Google Analyticator] Memory ErrorFIrst off, your error message indicates your memory limit is only 32MB. If that’s the same error message you get after increasing the memory, your increased limit isn’t taking.
From there, I would just do what you’re doing with disabling plugins. There is probably a combination of plugins that aren’t working well together. To help figure this out, look for a memory plugin that can help by displaying memory usage on pages. Enable and disable plugins and see the different effects.
