    Hey Tyler!

    Thanks for the help.

I installed User Role Editor and checked “edit_published_posts” on the subscriber account. Using a dummy student account I tried to make a post and edit, but no luck. “Edit” wont show up.

I changed that student role to “editor” and I was able to edit without a problem, but you are right… too much power for the students.

Doing a little process of elimination in a new role (Coursepress Student) I found that “edit_published_posts” & “edit_others_posts” needs to be enabled in the role to allow post editing. This of course has the obvious problem of students being able to edit each other’s posts.

    Image of it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/50fd1f0usiyuqxc/coursepressRole.png?dl=0

Any ideas on why that might be?

Aside from the default plugins (Akismet & Hello Dolly) the only things I have installed are CoursePress and User Role Editor. Pretty vanilla WP install and updated across the board.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the quick response!

I don’t think I made my question clear. I have already followed those steps and activated “Use check in/out time”. Having a renter check in and out on the same day works just fine.

My issue is that when a person checks out and new one checks in on the same day.. there is no way to visually see that from the calendar (not the admin panel, you can there). Typically the calendar has a dotted line for check in or check out. Is there a way to keep that line there so I can tell a resource is switching renters on a specific day?

    Hope that makes sense!
