I should also say, that the browser downloads the attachment automatically after submission even though the inline link isn’t appearing. This only works for some browsers though.

I am using Events Calendar Pro. I have tried the other shortcodes as well. For whatever reason they display on other pages/posts but not the homepage.

Thank you. I see what you mean. When I did this it stopped the widget from appearing on the individual post page. I then attempted to add rules to the Single Posts section by setting Show widget default on single posts to No and selecting the exception categories to where it should be displayed on single posts. However, when clicking save, none of the results are stored.
The rules under Category Pages are able to be saved.
When saving the settings I have tried clicking Save, and Save & Return.
