Sorry for the delayed response. Got hung up on a different project.
Apparently the theme I’m using doesn’t allow for using a plugin for duplicating pages. In fact, when I made a new page using an existing page as a template, from the dashboard, the page in question still didn’t duplicate the template correctly.
I ended up going another direction.
