Please disregard. I’ve decided to live with your version until I try out the Pro version.

I’ve resolved. Found a plugin called Peter’s Login Redirect. Works beautifully

As a subscriber, they see dashboard with the top menu (website and Howdy, user name with link to signout) and left menu. (Dashboard, Appearance, Profile ) I don’t what them to see these menus and go directly to the home page.

There should be two links in that email, one for premium version. Once you download and add into your installed plugin, it will look exactly the same as your non-premium version. The difference will be the premium features will be enabled. So look for the links in the email.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Bruce,

I apologize for calling you Brian.

The good news is I solved it. Not sure where the problem was, but it worked find on localhost, so I just copy the entire WP files to a test site and it worked.

    Thanks for your help.

PS Your script does work. I believe the script between echo just has to match the style on site. Thanks a million for your help.

    Hey Brian,

It works. However the style doesn’t work with the rest of the site.
I tried to put the code from page.php to apply the style, but that didn’t work either.

    Can you recommend a solution?

    Hi Bruce,

Thanks for your response. And I’ll try your script.

However, the real mystery for me is…

Not being able to post the latest post on the home page in its full text. I know my settings are correct. I have the same setting on my localhost, and it works with the full text. The production site doesn’t.

    Have any clue why?

    Hi esmi,
I think I should redefine my request since I can see it’s pretty vague.

I’m trying to find the best way to have users subscribe to my blog, send them newsletters whenever I create a new post (not pages, archives, etc.). I found 2 options but prefer the Mailchimp option. Or is there one that you can recommend?

    Mailchimp
    1. Integrate Mailchimp so it can send a newsletter that has been templated with my brand as I create posts. I am not sure if I can customize WordPress email newsletter, which is why I am opting to go through Mailchimp.
    2. I don’t quite understand how to:
    – integrate it so people will enter their email and subscribe on my site.
    – have their emails be added to a list without importing a list from WordPress to Mailchimp.
    – users can unsubscribe from my newsletter
    3. I am testing their plugin but don’t quite know how to subscribe to a MC list, then have MC send the newsletter without exporting and importing lists from WP to MC.

    WordPress/Feedburner
This is the less preferred method. So the question was is there a way to brand the WP newsletter that goes out whenever I create a new post.
