    I see. I would not have minded if they incorporated their own non-editable permalinks, and leave up to me to use them or not, but really bothers me they did it with the portfolio, as that is natively part of WP, and being the theme “multipurpose” it is a bit stupid on the developers’ part not to think that being a multipurpose theme, people would have used other options that work and team for other kinds of websites, and for other kinds of languages besides English.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I am not using a plug-in per se. The plug-in I installed temporarily as a test to see if those permalinks could be edited. They could, but uninstalling the plug-in not only made them not editable again (which i could live with once I set the ones I want), but automatically came back to the original ones. For other things I don’t mind depending on a plug-in to be permanently installed, but for that, I rather have it as native as possible.

    I thought it was WP’s decision not to include that option as editable in the Dashboard for whatever reason. I guess then it was the theme developers the ones that decided not to allow to edit that. Not really logical to me.

    I’ll keep on researching on it, as the developers of my theme are not that productive in support, and they also charge for it (at a minimum of $40)
