We have the same situation going on, even though we do not use PPOM. We use “Product Add-Ons for WooCommerce” 8.1.2
The fast checkout options are provided by WooCommerce PayPal Payments 3.3.2
We were able to temporarily fix this by disabling the setting for “Paypal Now Experience” in the “new interface” – I think the old interface the setting is says something about having the customer come back to WP’s Order Review screen before clicking “Place Order”
So to summarize:- With a fully ‘express’ or ‘pay now’ experience inside the Paypal popup checkout, the _bundle_cart_key shows up and product options are lost
- With a hybrid setup that uses some Paypal popup checkout but also requires the customer to review the order back in WP, the product options are saved and everything looks normal

As consistent with other comments, this error stopped on my client’s site as well. I am still sharing our versions for historical purposes or if this issue reemerges.

We reverted the Paypal “duplicate invoice” setting back to “No”

3DS 1 & 2 disabledOne of my clients is also having this issue. They are on WPEngine, WooCommerce 3.6.6, WP 4.9.18.
We do not see the PayPal setting referenced by @reneedirks unfortunately.
Any other ideas?

Update: I found where the setting is.
Hover over your profile name on top-right corner
Click Account Settings
Click Payment Preferences
Click “Update” next to Block Payments
For the setting “Block accidental payments:” set it to “No, allow multiple payments per invoice ID”- This reply was modified 4 years, 7 months ago by celoc. Reason: found setting
FYI… if the shortcode only shows a limited amount of posts, try increasing the number in the setting:
“Blog pages show at most” under Settings > Reading.

The answer is to update the plugin to 1.4.3 and update WP to a version over 4.x.x

My import says 10 imported successfully.

I’m considering upgrading to the premium support. Would my issue above be covered under that?
Additionally, are there any templates for the box design that include some of the G+ sharing (or +1) features similar to the default Google+ embed box?
The WDGPO version looks a bit bare compared to the G+ embed version.
