About your suggestions, the Orbitury Assistant is only for US or Canada, and I live in Europe, and I don’t like the fact that it works outside the admin panel (you’re linked to an admin panel on their website).
The WP Obituary I haven’t tested, but it seems there is few information about it, no pictures from it, no price information for the premium version, the reviews say the support isn’t very good.
I was thinking in adapting a plugin developed for different purposes, like creating team members profile, or an events manager.
