I solved it. It was my fault. I am terribly sorry for that.
I actually had the CookieYes WP plugin installed but was 100% I never had.

My god. I don’t want to be disrespectful but do you ever read what people write? I said that I switched back to manual script as this is a production site that has to work.

I am NOT using the WP plugin. Never used it and don’t want to use. I already tried with JS optimisation plugin deactivated. That won’t help.

@wpshopmart: I used the Health Check plugin to run Accordion FAQ on the Twenty Twenty-Three WP theme and by deactivating all plugins (I usually use) but yours.
Accordion FAQ works fine but to access a particular HTML ID like https://www.metabolic4you.ch/metabolic-balance-faq/#ac_10438_collapse8 does not work either.
Any ideas?

Cesare@wpshopmart oh wow. its an old theme (can’t be downloaded anywhere and I have 20 plugins installed. Thats not really feasible in my eyes.
So basically you want to say that there might be a conflict with the Accordion plugin and one of the others or with the theme?
Maybe we can find another way how we can track down the problem. Tell me what i should check, etc. Unfortunately there is no error msg in the Chrome Dev Tools console. AssetCleanup is a plugin that works some scripts but the Accordion plugin otherwise works really fine.

I fixed it. I had mistakenly disabled CF7CF CSS and JS. Sorry for the inconvenience…

I am using:
– PHP 7.4. FPM
– jQuery 3.7.0

I am pretty sure it has something to do with the CF Update 7.5.8.1. or before.

Sorry I forgot to say that I have the Cookie based brute force login prevention in place, so there is no known url that hackers can reach.

By choosing a Custom Grid galery AND switching on the ‘Enqueue Modula assets‘ in Settings – Misc I was able to overcome my problem especially also in Chrome now it works properly in all browsers.
This might be of help to somebody else too…

I appreciate your follow up. I removed the Java Script errors meanwhile. In the test environment it’s working actually. No idea what exactly caused the issue.I guess you can close the ticket.
