I finally found the solution. If you use the pro version of Elementor for custom templates you need this hook: elementor/frontend/the_content
Now it works!
Thank you for your time and your help anyway! You know in WordPress you have Pages and Posts. So Pages are static and Posts are more for Blogger it is not a static Page. Posts do have a publish date and it has categories etc…So the tool “convert links” is working on all static Pages but not on Posts (single post template with elementor and elementor pro plugin).
Is there a filter hook for all pages and posts or in general all content so this plugin works on every single page and post?
For example when I use javascript and include it in the footer or header the code works everywhere..do you have a solution like this?best regards
The “convert links” tool is working fine when the links are located in static “pages” like home url…but it doesn’t convert when links are located in the single post template (post page).
For example when I’m on the homepage and click on a link it is converted with my tag correctly. But when I have a post grid on my homepage and I click at a specific post it sends me to the post page and from there when I click on a link and check the amazon product page my associated tag is not included…It’s so frustrating hope you can help me out 🙁
