In reply to: You will always be moderatedSensible idea. Now if I can just get them to comment at the right time. 🙂
In the meantime, I found a plugin that supposedly will let me whitelist those two. (Gad, another plugin.) Maybe that will work.
Thank you for all your help.

In reply to: You will always be moderatedJust checked. Nothing outside the usual range of characters, so far as I can tell.

In reply to: You will always be moderatedI wasn’t aware that the website field counted as one. (Thank you for that.)
But the threshold set in Settings > Discussion is in fact three links.

In reply to: Sorting the_categoryAnd apparently it was fixed in 4.4.1, so you may now ignore this.

In reply to: Separating pingbacks from commentsI did find a plugin to do the heavy lifting here, but yes, I’m pretty sure I do need a more recent theme, since other issues may be lurking.

In reply to: [Database Backup for WordPress] WP-DB Stopped WorkingI have three sites. Two of them have databases under 6 MB, and those are backed up just fine.
But the big site has a database over 50 MB, and while the actual backup is completed, neither the email nor ‘save to computer’ function works. Instead, the uncompressed backup is stored online and must be retrieved via FTP.
This seems to have started happening shortly after 3.0. (I’m at 3.2.1 all around now.)

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Unable To Post With Version 0.9.3Deactivated, overwrote the old files with the new ones, reactivated. Seems to work fine now.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Unable To Post With Version 0.9.3I’ve seen the same issue crop up on first-time saves (though the autosave works correctly in the background, so I lose nothing but maybe the last few characters I’d typed in).
I did have a site move the night before, but inasmuch as the plugin found the new path correctly (and it’s correct in advanced-cache.php), I don’t think that’s the issue.
Whatever is going on, I’m pretty sure it will be fixed in 0.9.4.

In reply to: Where did these come from? That makes sense. I’m using wp-cache. Doesn’t quite explain the .wma extension, but caches, I imagine, don’t use PHP.
