In reply to: [WooCommerce] Database Update in Progress won’t Go Away After Updating to V5Thanks for the reply (even if late). This issue cleared up after I had applied the update a while back. Thanks.

In reply to: [Piotnet Forms] why was plugin removed from repository?According to the Slack channel for plugin review, this went out yesterday and a lot of plugins got closed – so it could be procedural rather than security-related.

In reply to: [Piotnet Forms] why was plugin removed from repository?Came here to ask the same question…
I searched around and couldn’t find anything about open security holes in the plugin, and I didn’t see it listed on WPScan and nothing on the Wordfence blog either.

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Broke GTM/G-Analytics?@henscu I just had this problem after the latest LiteSpeed update and found the issue under the Page Optimization settings on the Localization tab. Comment out the lines that contain google analytics & google tag manager and then clear your cache.

In reply to: [jQuery Pin It Button for Images] Still Supported?@frecklesonthebeach no, for the time being, I have dropped it from the 1 site I used it on. If you search on the repository for ‘pin it’ you’ll find one by Weblizar called “Pin It Button On Image Hover And Post” that you might want to try. It has a lot of installs and was updated a couple of months ago so it looks like it’s still supported. I haven’t tried it yet though.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] External/Affiliate Links adding extra character “?” to the URLI noticed this today too when setting up a new site for a client that uses all external links. I know the last time I set this a couple years ago, the behavior wasn’t like that. Whatever link you set in the affiliate/external link is where the purchase button took you to… now it adds a ? to the end of the URL.

In reply to: [WPScan - WordPress Security Scanner] Doesn’t ScanAfter deleting the plugin and reinstalling it, suddenly it’s working. ::shrug::
@fpmtinc thanks for jumping in and confirming I’m not the only one. I’m hoping the devs are just on a 2-week vacation or something.
Man, it looks like you guys have been AWOL for the last 2 weeks. I’ve had a pro ticket in for almost 2 weeks with zero acknowledgment. Can anyone reading this duplicate the issue? It seems that on all the sites I have this installed on if I try to create a new reposter action, I can’t select a category in the filters section. Literally just won’t take the click or allow me to just type one in. Tags work… everything else seems to work. Just not categories (which is what I need).
Thank you

In reply to: [jQuery Pin It Button for Images] Still Supported?I think it’s safe to say this plugin is no longer supported. It’s been almost 2 years since the author last replied to anything.
Yes, the posts/blog page. I’ll send the link in a private channel through support – it’s not exhibiting the issue now though because I already rolled back to the previous version.
Hi, I’m using 4.2.1 and pro 1.0.7. I don’t think the Pro version matters as the issue seems independent of that – even when the pro version is deactivated and just the free version is running I have the issue. Caches of course emptied and completely disabled during troubleshooting to no avail.
The only server error message I can see (it’s reseller hosting so I have a very limited view) is an error that a custom 503 error page is not available. Nothing indicating the source of the 503 error.
In Troubleshooting Mode:
Used TwentyTwenty Theme with ALL plugins disabled except Molongui Free – posts pages load, main archive page is blank (this could be Troubleshooting mode’s response to a 503 error) but other archives appear to work, which is odd because both use the same template. If I just use TwentyTwenty with no plugins enabled at all – the main archive page loads just fine – as soon as I enable Molongui, it won’t load. In this state, other issues are impossible to check because the site is built with Elementor/Elementor Pro and with those disabled, many elements are not visible to check them – but as soon as these are enabled I can see other issues.Rolling Molongui Authorship Free version back to 4.1.2 resolves all the issues.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Error saving order. Event with code 9035 has not be registered.I have the same issue – deactivating the activity log plugin resolved the issue. Now I have to go back and figure out what these people ordered…
I appreciate the reply. Again if someone only needs to use the GA tag, then your plugin is like using a sledgehammer for a finishing nail. Way too much code to bloat a site just for that basic functionality.
Handing over oAuth info means your plugin can email addresses for marketing and, in the mindset of most users, would be considered personal information.
