In reply to: [Link in Bio Creator – Social] LinkedIn prepopulated partial link incorrectHello Jon,
Thank you for reaching out.
To link to your school’s LinkedIn page, you can use a small workaround: Simply enter ../school/bridges-academy/ in the input field. The ../ is the key part here, as it will replace the /in part of the URL and link correctly to your school’s page.
If there’s anything more we can help you with, please let us know.

In reply to: [Link in Bio Creator – Social] LimitedDear zeuskorleone,
Thank you for your feedback. While full customization of the bio link page is available exclusively in the paid versions of Social, we do offer pre-made themes that allow you to personalize your bio link page. We’ll be adding new themes in future updates, ensuring there’s something for everyone, even in the free version.
With kind regards
Hello Schmekbu,
We have just sent you a mail. Kindly check your inbox for instructions on how to try the new version.

Hello Schmekbu,
We have found the root cause of this issue. It will be fixed in the next version of Social, which we’ll release in the coming days.
For now, there’s nothing more you need to do from your side – just keep an eye out for Social version 1.5.9.

In reply to: [Link in Bio Creator – Social] Links page suddenly brokenHello,
We’ve just reviewed your bio link page, and everything seems to be working fine. We also ran the bio link page through Google PageSpeed Insights, which shows a non-cached version of your site. Everything looks good there as well. If styles are not loading correctly, it may be due to a misconfiguration with your caching plugin. I recommend the following steps:
- Clear the cache of your site.
- If your caching plugin offers an option to exclude certain pages, add the bio link page to that list.
For further troubleshooting, kindly send your site’s health report to [email protected]. This report can be found in the WordPress admin under Tools → Site Health. This allows us to examine site details (such as a list of your installed plugins) that shouldn’t be shared in the WordPress forum.

In reply to: [Link in Bio Creator – Social] Live links page not matching previewHello,
This is how the bio link page looks on iOS from our end:
We also ran your site through the Google Page Speed insights, which simulates a mobile device. This also shows the correct styles:
We’re pretty much certain that this is a caching issue, and therefore clearing the live site’s cache is a good idea. When it comes to iOS, simply emptying the browser history doesn’t affect the browser cache, so this might be the reason why you still see the old version. Clearing the browser cache on iOS needs to be done as follows: https://support.apple.com/en-us/105082
We would recommend clearing the live site’s cache first. If that doesn’t work, you can go on with the clearing the iOS cache.

In reply to: [Link in Bio Creator – Social] Live links page not matching previewHello,
Thanks for the detailed follow up. We’ve just had a look at your site on iOS and it all looked as expected (white buttons, black font). Do you use some sort of caching plugin? If so, we would recommend clearing the cache of your WordPress site and browser. After that, re-visit the page on your mobile device.
Please let us know if that helped.

In reply to: [Link in Bio Creator – Social] Live links page not matching previewHello,
It seems that the styles from our plugin conflict with some of the styles of your theme. Would it be possible for you to add the following CSS to override your theme’s styles as a quick workaround? This snippet only affects the bio link page, not the rest of your site.
.social-link-in-bio main a:not(.bg-white):not(.p-2), .social-link-in-bio main button:not(.bg-white):not(.p-2) {
color: var(--buttonFontColor)!important;
background: var(--buttonColor)!important;
}
.social-link-in-bio main a:not(.p-2), .social-link-in-bio main button:not(.p-2) {
line-height: inherit!important;
font-size: inherit!important;
}We’ll also consider your theme in the next release of our plugin so that Social works seamlessly with your current theme out of the box.
Sorry for the inconvenience – WordPress has so many different themes that it’s hard for us to test with each and every one. Unfortunately, some theme authors don’t follow best practices, resulting in styling issues like in your case.

In reply to: [Link in Bio Creator – Social] The button’s color changes.Hello,
Thank you for your message. This behavior is intended. Most of the content you embed via a shortcode requires a neutral or transparent background. Therefore, the shortcode button turns white when you expand it. The text of the button should turn black for better readability.If you require further assistance with the premium version or want to disable this behavior, kindly contact us via [email protected]. Make sure to include the URL of your bio link.

In reply to: [Link in Bio Creator – Social] Not Working After Permalink ChangeHello,
It doesn’t seem like it first, but the bio link page is internally handled as a post by WordPress. Any permalink changes will therefore also affect the URL of your bio link page.
For now, you have three options:
- Change your permalink settings back to /%postname%/.
- Access your bio link page via the plain URL format, for e. g. [site.com]/?cms-landingpages=links.
- Access your bio link page via your configured permalink, which would be [site.com]/links-52704 in your case. You could also set up a redirect from [site.com]/links to [site.com]/links-52704.
If there’s anything more we can help you with, please let us know.
