Chatroll’s servers are specifically designed for fast and stable chat, scalable to an unlimited # of users. This level of performance is unlikely to be achievable on the majority of WordPress hosts, so in most cases, this is a major benefit of using our plugin.
Our system provides some of the best moderation tools on the market. We also take security very seriously. You control how all content submitted to Chatroll can be accessed, and HTTPS is now the default mode used by the plugin, so all communication is fully encrypted.

Thank you for your feedback. We have addressed the issue and released a new version of the Charoll plugin (1.2.5). Please update your plugin.
In case you were wondering, the problem was caused by a dependency on Curl, which we’ve removed in our new plugin.
