Thanks for the info Dave. It’s good to have several options that work to combat these bots.
Hi,
For people having the same problem, here is how I made the bot stop spamming my forms.
I simply updated the difficulty from default 12 to 20. This made me have to wait about 5 seconds for my computer to solve the hash-puzzle and be able to fill the form but it also made the bot stop spamming.
At the beginning, 1 out of 5 spam from the bot passed through but about 2 days later, the bot stopped trying. It has been about two weeks without spam. I will wait a month or two before setting the difficulty back to the default 12 just in case the bot still has my website in its spam list.
I hope this helps others having the same problem.

Hi,
I simply substituted the “echo” code in your plugin with a simple customized “add_shortcode()” code and was able to make your plugin work with shortcodes. Now I can choose where the category description is displayed in the Porto theme.
I hope you can add this shortcode function in the future so I don’t lose it with every plugin update.
Thanks!
Hi,
After reviewing several exchange rate plugins, this was the one I preferred, but what a surprise it does not work with WP v5.1.1. It just shows:
Settings
Settings Translate FAQ
Add a new currency pair
Empty menuI hope you can update it soon.
Thanks!
Hi,
I would also love to see this addition. Most new themes use post types a lot, primarily for portfolios and sometimes when we use the grid portfolio options to show our products, we need to send people to a page different than the portfolio item page. I hope you consider this addition soon.
BTW, this is the best redirect plugin I’ve seen so far, keep the awesome work Fakhri 🙂
Hi guys,
I solved this problem by copying on a notepad all my WordPress SEO configuration and going to the SEO/Dashboard and click the “Reset Default Settings” button.
I had to re-configure everything again (reason why I copied all the settings before reseting it) but it’s now working just fine.
Hope this helps! 🙂
Hi,
I have the same problem. I want to disable Facebook OpenGraph meta data and when I uncheck “Add OpenGraph meta data” at the “Social” section, all OG meta tags remain.
Also using WP 3.5.1 and WP SEO Plugin 1.4.4.
Any help on how to disable FB OP would be greatly appreciated.
