I thought my picture sizing was correct. I sized it on Picmonkey – unless the size is off.

I am trying with the Virtue theme – I keep creating photos in Picmonkey according to the slider specs – yet every time I upload a photo – it does not fill the width of the slider. I notice there are updates and downloads to Virtue – I am a total novice to web design and am not computer savvy. When I download the updates – it goes to my computer, how do I get it to go to the site? Thanks.
