In reply to: [Kadence] Can I remove Woo Commerce from a template?Hi @jdlynch ,
Happy to help.
Could you please let me know which Starter Template you are looking at importing?
If the shopping bag icon is in the header, you can remove it from Appearance > Customize > Header, as shown in this screencast:
https://share.zight.com/2NuOnywNRegarding WooCommerce, when importing an eCommerce Starter Template, WooCommerce is often marked as a required plugin because some of the template’s design and demo content depend on it during the import process. However, you are not required to use WooCommerce after the import is complete.
If you do not plan to sell anything, you can deactivate and delete the WooCommerce plugin after importing the template. The rest of the website pages can still be used normally, and any shop-related pages or features included in the template will no longer function.
Let us know which Starter Template you’re using, and we’ll be happy to point you to the exact setting for removing the shopping bag icon.

In reply to: [Kadence] Are you serious about your new documentation?Hi @zesen,
Thank you for the detailed feedback.
We are currently in the middle of migrating all of our brand documentation into a new centralized help center, and during this transition, some image assets have not fully migrated over.
Please know that we are not giving up on Kadence at all. Our team is actively working on improving the documentation structure, restoring missing media, and making navigation much easier so articles can be found more intuitively.
I also appreciate you pointing out the issue with the Archive Layout Customizer Settings documentation and the missing images there. I’ve shared this feedback with our team so they can investigate and address it.
In the meantime, if you are trying to locate settings or documentation for a specific feature, such as Archive Layout, please let me know exactly what you are trying to accomplish, and I’ll gladly point you to the correct steps or documentation.

In reply to: [Kadence] Space above and below Main NavigationHi @larissa67,
The gap below the navigation is coming from the Main Header Row Minimum Height setting, which is currently set to 80px. Here’s a screencast for reference:
https://share.zight.com/JruRBOQL
To remove the gap, kindly navigate to the theme Customizer > Header > Main Header Row and adjust the Min Height value. Here’s another screencast showing how to do this:

In reply to: [Kadence] Secondary Menu in Mobile ViewHi @larissa67,
Happy to help.
The Secondary Menu on mobile (Mobile Navigation 2) is currently only available through the Kadence Theme Kit Pro plugin.
Alternatively, you can add the menu items using the HTML Header Items option with hyperlinked text. Here is a screencast showing how to achieve this:
https://share.zight.com/v1u7kg1JRegarding the large black background, that is coming from the Header Off Canvas Background color setting. To remove or change it, kindly navigate to the theme Customizer > Header > Tablet/Mobile > Trigger > Drawer Container Options > Design > Popup Background

Hi @bigmoxy,
Happy to assist.
The Row Layout has padding left and right values of 15px, which is why the Google Map within the Row layout is not full-width. Here is a screencast for reference:
https://share.zight.com/E0upNW0bTo make the Google map full-width:
- Edit the contact page
- Navigate to the Row Layout block with the Google Maps block
- Navigate to the Row Layout > Advanced tab
- Add 0 to the Padding Left and Right

EzeHi @jlev00,
Great question, and glad to hear about your experience using the Kadence Email Designer.
You can safely leave that setting as it is. It won’t negatively impact Kadence Email Designer, as the plugin uses its own template system and can override/customize the default WooCommerce email types it supports. Any other WooCommerce emails will continue to use the default WooCommerce email design.
In terms of benefits, it doesn’t really add anything specific for Kadence Email Designer, since Kadence already handles the email templates it supports on its own.
Overall, there is no downside, and you can simply leave it as it is.
Hope this clarifies things!
Regards,

In reply to: [Ascend] Options goneThank you for reaching out and for the additional information.
I was able to replicate this issue where the Theme Option is missing the latest versions, 1.4.18 and 1.4.19, and it has been escalated to the team.
In the meantime, as a workaround, you can temporarily downgrade the Ascend theme to version 1.4.17. You can download that version from here.
I will update you once I have feedback from the team.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you need any more help on this.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Virtue] 2 Woocommerce files are out of dateHi @simondukes,
Glad you reached out.
This has been escalated to the development team and will most likely be resolved in the next update for the theme.
However, there shouldn’t be any issue with your template’s functions. It will still work as expected.

Hi Kim,
Yes, you can set a manual size for the Gallery (Adv) image carousel images using this custom CSS:
.kimgallery .kb-gallery-image-contain {
height: 500px !important;
}
.kimgallery .kadence-blocks-gallery-intrinsic {
position: static !important;
}Add
kimgallerywith the block class in the Advanced Tab > Advanced > Additional CSS.Here is how to add the custom CSS to your website:

EzeHi Tobi,
Are you referring to the Kadence Posts Block?
If yes, I am unable to replicate this issue. The Exclude Category Filter works as expected in the editor and on the frontend. Here is a screencast for your reference:
https://share.zight.com/4guv0Y9ZTo troubleshoot this, please try the following troubleshooting steps listed here:
https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/The ampersand (
&) is a special character in HTML/XML and needs to be escaped to&to ensure valid code. WordPress automatically converts&to&in the editor to prevent parsing errors, but displays as&in the frontend.The category name with the “&” displaying as “&” in the editor is functionally correct and ensures proper rendering on the front end.
