I added the new field as a chip, and it shows up as a chip (a little badge in the top right of the posting), and it’s added to the “fields to use in API requests” but it still doesn’t show up as a field in the application form. Is there something else we’re missing?

But that has us editing the app.json file “found in the root directory of the portal” – as I understand it this isn’t app.json found in this plugin, I can’t (shouldn’t) edit core plugin files. So that tells me I should have access to the portal files to edit – but I don’t. Can you please point me in the right direction?thanks

It looks like you may have already determined this but it turns out that any required field not filled in has the same issue. After you get the message that it’s a required field then go back to enter the required field you get the message that you’ve already voted.
