hi, we have tried adopting the approach you have suggested with the URL using the tool you provided but unfortunately it does not work and the chatbot is unable to recall the information we add. The info we manually add (using the direct content option) isnt referenced in the debug panel either.
is there a way for us to tighten/restrict some of the answers – for example we need to give a very specific response for customers who ask about returning items.
ok got it working, just deleted it and re-did it putting our homepage as our source. It seems a source URL is needed for it to reference the info.
and no it didnt show our response anywhere even in the helper tool you mentioned….we have literally inputted the answer to the question in our knowledge base and when we ask the same question we get the standard response of no knowledge
no we didnt supply a source URL because i have inputted it manually so cant see why it would need a source url.

Hi thanks but we have it on the lowest threshold of 20 and it will not reference the discount information from our knowledge base for some reason.
we have this in the knowledge base: –Do you have a discount code? A discount code you can use is SAVE10 - this gives 10% off at checkout. Please ensure you enter the text as one word i.e SAVE10 and not SAVE 10Yet if we ask the same question we get the standard response of not having enough knowledge to answer.

@subscriptiongroup thanks for that – it’s crazy how this has been going on for so many years without a solution. It’s actually one of the key deciding factors behind why we have decided to go with shopify for a new brand we are working on.
Unfortunately we are still seeing duplicate payments every now and then when a customer pays with apple pay via stripe….Has anyone managed to figure out what causes this? It doesn’t happen on all transactions but just every now and then.
