In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Display Icon in calendarNot trying to hijack this thread, but I think they are wanting to do the same thing I was looking for an answer for.
Is there a way to show the featured image as a thumbnail in the calendar listing so the user doesn’t have to click on the event to see it?
My wife has an art studio and offers art and craft classes and we’d like to show a thumbnail of the project not only on the main calendar page but also we use the upcoming events shortcode to display a list of upcoming classes on our frontpage and would like to be able to show a thumbnail of that class along side the listing. Can this be done?

In reply to: [My Tickets - Accessible Event Ticketing] Rename “Complimentary” ticket typeHello, there is really no need to do that. The complementary field is only visible to admin’s and the end-user never sees it

In reply to: [My Tickets - Accessible Event Ticketing] Add to Cart doesn’t workIt most likely has added the ticket to the cart, but the plugin does not go directly to the checkout by default. You should see a link “View Cart”. In order to go directly to your checkout after adding tickets you will need to add a snippet of code as a plugin. I use it on my site and it works perfectly. I don’t remember the link to the code snipet, but you could try searching or browsing the forum here for “Redirect to checkout after Add to Cart> I’d post the code, but I’m not sure Joe would want me to do that, afterall the snippet is located at a different site and I was sent a link. However, if you’ll pm me I can attach my php file to you.

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] My Calendar created duplicate eventsI guess I should add … the issues was rather obvious once I took the time to look. I noticed the only duplicates I was having was those events that had tickets associated to them.

In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] My Calendar created duplicate eventsHi Joe, Yes it was duplicating in the admin as well. I was able to track it down and the error was totally mine. I had read the My Ticket thread on redirecting straight to check out and implemented it by copying the code the post pointed to and saving it as a php file and uploaded it to my plugins directory. However, a missing or bad character, which I never found btw, must have caused issues with the My Calendar plugin, because I went back to the original code post, clicked on the button that was labeled Raw, copied it straight into notepad saved it; re-uploaded it and I haven’t had an issue since. Sorry for the trouble.

In reply to: [Ultimate Reviews For Facebook] Step 2 errorI’m having the same issue. Has anyone figured this out yet?
Ok, Well that’s odd. I just went back and looked. Using the JAWS screen reader with chrome the dates are there, using Window-Eyes with Chrome the dates aren’t. ODD for sure. Of course the customer that reported it didn’t tell me what browser she was using. I’ll have the wife take a look with Firefox, but it seems it can’t be recreated now anyway. BTW, thanks for all you do in the way of accessibility.

In reply to: [Site Reviews] Site Rating Reviews AccessibilityYou my man … are awesome. I had added the custom css, but it didn’t fix the problem, but the update sure has. Thanks so much. Works like a champ.

In reply to: [Site Reviews] Site Rating Reviews AccessibilityThat would be awesome. If I could make a suggestion, if possible a dropdown or radio buttons are actually the most screen reader accessible. mouseovers and onclicks are not the best option in my opinion, but like most other blind folks, I’ll will be happy with any accessibility. Thank you so much for such a cool little plugin and I look forward to having it accessible.

In reply to: [Site Reviews] Site Rating Reviews AccessibilityWell, after reading the wiki on it I don’t guss I’ll be disabling star ratings afterall.
Thank you Joe for the response. I did figure it out. I meant to come back here and delete the thread, but had to leave the house suddenly. I really love the plugin and it is mostly accessible. There are some spots here and there that my screen reader has issues with, but I won’t highjack this thread to go into it.. Once I have a chance to use a couple of different browsers and a different screen reader I’ll report on that in a different topic. Thanks for all you do in the realm of accessibility.
