I reached out to the theme designers and they had me past the following into their custom CSS section:
.popup {
display: none;
}
That fixed the issue. So if anyone else has Novelite, Novelpro, Doctorsline, etc, this is the fix.

Thanks for the reply. It’s happening on multiple computers. I have reactivated the plugin if you wouldn’t mind taking a look. When it’s active and I’m inspecting it on the Chrome browser, it almost looks like the Facebook plugin is overlaid invisibly in the center of the page. Like a phantom box with HTML code can be highlighted and inspected. Any help is much appreciated.
