1) Are you using Site Kit to insert the Google Analytics snippet on your site or are you using another (plugin or theme) method to do so?

2) We have documentation that describes what kind of permissions levels are required. Ultimately, you need WordPress admin access and administrative access for your Google Account on the account/property you’re trying to connect. Is that the case with the Google account that you’re using?
Have full access for everything in Google and on WordPress.

I was not able to do this, it just showed it trying to connect to what I think was a delegated Analytics account.
I have fixed this issue myself though, I delegated access from Analytics and Search console to another separate Google account that had no other sites added and Sitekit worked fine. Might be a future issue that could be looked into, however.
