The website was upgraded from a standard hosting plan to a business hosting plan around the same time I started having problems, so it looks like one is the www version and the other is the non-www version. I will contact my hosting company to fix this and clear all the caches etc.

I installed another theme and the alignments are the same. This time there is no text overlap with the down arrow so it looks much better. https://imgur.com/EopjHXW

Update: I have confirmed from 3 customers that they are seeing an older version of my website, including the checkout page. One even tried a different browser they hadn’t used before. The website URL they used is correct. I will be contacting my hosting provider again.

I could not find any tab called “fatal error” in the Logs page. I did a search for “fatal error” on the page and nothing came up. How can I send you a screenshot?

I performed the above steps but unfortunately they have not helped. The last three failed orders were 17035, 17036 and 17037 which were orders from 2 weeks ago. No confirmation emails were sent. The Sequential Order Numbers plugin also did not help.

I had another order today which did not show up in the Admin, only the payment transaction. The order number assigned was 17028 which was an order placed by another customer 10 days ago. When I click on the order number or buyer name in the payment transaction page, it takes me to the order details of the original buyer 10 days ago. Unfortunately the changes I have made in the plugins have had no effect.

The issue began about 1 week ago. I have been using Woocommerce for more than 5 years. I did not install any new plugins or switch themes. The only thing that changed before I had the problem was that my Crazy Domains hosting was changed to a business plan and also had a new mail server (Titan) installed. there was some changes made to DNS TXT records. The issue occurs in about 20-25% of orders, irrespective of whether the payment was through woocommerce paypal or woopayments cards.

Since following your suggestions with outdated and conflicting plugins, I have had 6 orders and one of them (a paypal payment) has not shown up in the admin orders list and no woocommerce order confirmation email was sent. The order number assigned to the missing order (shown in the paypal confirmation) was 17027, whereas the other 5 orders were sequentially correct and a much higher number: 17066,17067,17068,17069,17070. On the positive side, the order 17027 had not been used previously by another purchase, it was a skipped order number. Order 17067 and 17068 were also paypal orders and the rest were woocommerce card payments, confirming that the payment method selected by the buyer is not related to the problem.

It seems that when woocommerce assigns an incorrect order number (ie a lower number) then the order does not appear in the order list and no confirmation emails are sent. The problem is the assigning of the lower order number.

I should also add, the problem appears to not be related to what payment method the buyer selects, ie card payment or Paypal. The problem can occur in either case. At least with paypal I know what the person ordered, but there is no Woocommerce email conformations sent for about 1 in 4 orders and nothing in the order list. I am using the Woocommerce paypal plugin
